A 3-year-old unintentionally shot a man on Thursday night in Delray Beach after getting access to an unsecured gun, the police department said.

Delray Police officers were called to the 500 block of Udel Lane about 9 p.m. An adult had been shot and was taken to a hospital, police department spokesperson Ted White said in an email Friday evening.
