NFL Fans Blaming Dan Quinn For Jayden Daniels’ Terrible Injury Sunday

NFL fans are blaming Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn for Jayden Daniels’ terrifying injury on Sunday.

The Commanders are trailing the Cowboys, 17-10, at halftime of Sunday’s Week 2 game. But the league is more concerned by the status of Daniels. The Commanders’ franchise quarterback suffered a terrifying, likely game-ending elbow injury at the end of the first half on Sunday evening.

FOX announcer Tom Brady couldn’t help but curse when the network showed a replay of the injury before going to commercial break.

The injury happened on a play that started with :03 on the clock. The Commanders could have settled for a field goal, cutting the Cowboys’ lead to 17-13. However, Washington went for the touchdown.

Daniels stumbled on the play and then went to the ground, suffering the gruesome elbow injury.

Why go for it in that situation?

“Why are so many NFL coaches so dumb. Dan Quinn decides to go for it there for what? Yikes. To make it worse, Jayden gets injured. Play should’ve never happened. Kick the damn FG,” one fan added.

Ultimately, the injury to Daniels was a freak one – and he’s a player that has gotten injured in the past – but the Commanders were playing with fire with that end-of-half call and they ended up getting burned.
