Northwestern topped Colorado, 41-7, in a Week 3 blowout. The Wildcats dominated in basically every facet of the game. Colorado had no answer for what Northwestern was doing on the field.
Unfortunately for Colorado, a pregame video added insult to injury.
Colorado’s players were seen talking trash about the stadium and atmosphere at Northwestern right before kickoff.
“This place (expletive) sucks,” one player could be heard yelling.
Another player said: “(Expletive) sounds like a (expletive) library.”
Colorado’s players ripped for ‘classless’ behavior
It’s one thing to talk like that before a win, but it’s another entirely to do that when you’re about to get blown out.
“Just classless,” one fan wrote.
College football fans are critical of Colorado’s players.
“You know what stinks worse? Going on the road and getting your butt taken to the woodshed,” one fan wrote.
“The flight home is going to be quieter than a library,” one fan added.
“So on brand. Mocking the other team, then getting their butt kicked,” one fan added.

“Colorado got sucked into The Northwestern Trap that every Big Ten team knows all too well. It’s 38-7 Northwestern right now,” another writer shared.
“They should’ve known Northwestern students thrive in the library,” another fan joked.
“Just not the kind of behavior you want to be seeing from Deion Sanders’ players at this stage of his tenure at the school. Be better, guys,” one fan added.
College kids are going to behave like this every now and then, but it’s ugly when it happens right before a blowout loss.
