Final Injury Report for Vikings-Bears: Will Kyler Murray, D’Andre Swift Play?

The Minnesota Vikings are on the road Sunday afternoon as they travel to take on the Chicago Bears in a Week 2 NFC North showdown.

Minnesota enters Sunday’s game with a 1-0 record after defeating the Green Bay Packers at home in Week 1 after closing the game with 29 straight points to overcome a 22-10 deficit.

In their victory over the Packers, Justin Jefferson led the way for the Vikings as he recorded 92 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns while Carson Wentz added 133 passing yards and three passing touchdowns of his own.

The Vikings will try to grab another in-division win Sunday as they face off against the Bears in a tough road matchup.

Chicago enters Sunday’s contest with a 1-0 record after defeating the Carolina Panthers at home in Week 1.

Caleb Williams led the way for the Bears in their Week 1 victory as he ended the game with 334 total yards and four total touchdowns while D’Andre Swift recorded 124 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Vikings Injury Report: Will Kyler Murray, Jauan Jennings Play?

The Vikings have four players listed on their injury report, including quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

Minnesota has ruled out Murray due to a concussion that he suffered in Week 1 as he will miss his first game of the season.

With Murray sidelined, Wentz will start in his place while J.J. McCarthy will serve as his backup.

The Vikings have also ruled out Jennings due to personal reasons as he will miss his first game of the season, which could allow for Tai Felton to have an increased role alongside Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

Running back Jordan Mason has also been ruled out after he was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week after undergoing surgery to repair a small fracture in his thumb while tackle Brian O’Neill is questionable with a knee injury.

Bears Injury Report: Will D’Andre Swift Play?

The Bears have nobody listed on their injury report as they will enter Sunday’s game with a healthy roster.

This is great news for Chicago as Swift will play against the Vikings despite being limited in practice throughout the week due to ankle and knee injuries.
