Man hospitalized after being shot, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office says
A man was hospitalized after he was found shot in the West Little River section of Miami-Dade County on Wednesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies received reports of shots fired shortly before 2:30 p.m. in the area of Northwest 90th Street and 27th Avenue, according to the sheriff’s office.
They found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound, said Detective Joseph Peguero Rivera, a sheriff’s office spokesman.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
