Audi Offers EV Lessees Up to $10,000 to Keep Their Cars

Audi released a bulletin to its dealers detailing a new program available to BEV lessees. The promotion is available for the month of September 2026, and it will give lessees a buy-out incentive of up to $10,000 for certain models.

EV lease clients across the United States will be able to avail themselves of this promotion from now until the end of the month, and this is good news for lease customers who’ve grown quite fond of their Audi BEVs and want to keep them even after their lease agreement.

Eligible Models

The Audi e-tron GT, Q8 e-tron, and Q4 e-tron are all included in this buy-out program, according to CarsDirect. The biggest incentive discount is available for the e-tron GT, which is set at $10,000. For the Q8 e-tron and Q4 e-tron, lessees can expect $4,000 and $5,000 off their buyout agreements, respectively.

Buyout options are available for lessees at the end of their contract term, and in addition to the incentive for lessees, dealers will get a $500 Dealer Facilitation Incentive for each lessee that takes advantage of the BEV Lessee Buyout Option Incentive from Audi.

A Bigger Discount

This incentive is actually better now than before. Audi introduced another buyout offer back in July 2026, but the incentive is bigger now for the Q4 e-tron, growing from $3,000 to now $5,000.

It’s understandable if a lessee wants to outright own a vehicle after their lease contract is up. If a car’s good enough, it’s not impossible for a bond to form or for a lessee to keep enjoying their vehicle beyond contracts and agreements. On top of that, the car’s backed, and if the lessee secured an agreement for a brand-new car, it’s like they’re the first owners. Audi is making the decision easier for lessees who are on the fence about outright owning their leased vehicle.
