Lauderhill police investigate deadly shooting with no known suspect

Authorities are investigating after a man was fatally shot Sunday night in Lauderhill, police said.

At around 10:14 p.m., officers responded to the 6800 block of Landings Drive for a reported shooting, the Lauderhill Police Department said in a Monday statement.

Officers found a man, who was not identified, who had been shot multiple times, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motive is unknown, and there is no known suspect or suspects, police said. No additional information was immediately available Monday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
