Three South Florida Publix stores sold half of Sunday’s lottery draw winners

For the second straight day, the big money Florida Lottery draw games on Sunday produced six jackpot winners.

And for the second straight day, those winners were confined to the two Fantasy 5 drawings.

The Sunday evening drawing came up 7, 18, 29, 31 and 36. That quintet was the choice of a player at the North Miami Publix at 12855 NE Sixth Ave. They were also chosen by the Quick Pick-spitting lottery machines at the Coral Springs Publix at 2201 N. University Dr.; the RaceTrac at 4510 S. Orange Blossom Tr. in Kissimmee; and the Fort Myers Murphy USA station at 14801 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy.

Each ticket won $24,351.

That four-way split created the rarity of evening draw winner or winners winning less ($24,351 per ticket) than a midday jackpot ($27,435 on Sunday), especially a shared midday jackpot.

The midday draw numbers 7, 8, 16, 29 and 36 were on a ticket bought at the Hialeah Publix Sabor, 1290 W. 68th St. and a free Quick Pick ticket out of the machine at the Grab N Go Smoke & Vape convenience store at 8711 Cypress Lake Dr. in Fort Myers.

These tickets need to be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery district offices around the state. The Miami office, 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes, can be reached at 305-364-3080 or [email protected]. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. The above offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Monday, Powerball game numbers will be drawn for its $360 million jackpot along with the two Fantasy 5 drawings.
