Man’s body pulled from water in Lauderhill, police say
The Lauderhill Police Department is investigating Sunday after a man’s body was pulled from a body of water, authorities said.

Police responded to the 5600 block of Enclave Place around 5:19 p.m. Saturday to a reported drowning, a Lauderhill police spokesperson said.
Family members told officers that the man had been underwater for some time prior to their arrival, a spokesperson said. Officers got in the water and tried to find him, but they were unsuccessful.

Lauderhill Fire Rescue and the Sunrise Police Department dive team continued the search, found the man and got him out of the water, a spokesperson said. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead.
The man was not identified by police.
Criminal and crime scene detectives responded to the scene, and the incident remains under investigation, a spokesperson said. No additional information was available as of Sunday afternoon.
