He registered two tackles in the 15-10 loss at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Miami sacked Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray four times. On Monday, Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley spoke glowingly about Robinson and said the second-year pass rusher is getting more comfortable after missing time in Week 2 while in concussion protocol.

“I think there’s something to be said about getting into a rhythm and getting into a routine,” Hafley said. “He’s getting more comfortable in the scheme. I thought his get-off was outstanding. I mean, watching him get off the football yesterday on the one third-and-1, I think it was, I mean, he just dipped, he went back and he was in the quarterback’s lap.

“And then the thing what he’s doing is he’s not just playing using his speed. There was one when he kind of went speed to power and he walked the tackle right back into the quarterback, the quarterback had to step up and Uche made the play. So it was his pressure, [Josh] Uche’s sack. One, I think Austin [Clark] and those guys are doing an outstanding job coaching him.”

Robinson looks to build upon best performance of the season

Before Sunday’s game, Miami was the only team in the NFL without a sack through three games. Zach Sieler had two sacks against the Vikings, while Uche also finished with a sack.

In addition to his two tackles, Robinson hit Murray three times on his 37 passing attempts. He finished the game with eight pressures.

Miami could use more performances like this from Robinson, who has had an uneven career with the Dolphins through three seasons. After recording six sacks as a rookie in 2024, Robinson finished with four last season, while several other numbers dipped from his first season in the league.

In a year when the Dolphins are in evaluation mode, Robinson needs to show why he belongs in the team’s future.
